Volunteers needed for FAST Indoor Tri - September 21st

The Fisher's (FAST) Indoor Triathlon is coming up on Saturday, September 21st, and race organizers are looking for volunteers to help out with this inaugural event. This is another opportunity for everyone to “give back” to the tri community. The event includes a youth race, so by helping out you’ll be doing your part to help grow the sport. Congratulations to all of the club members who participated in Ironman Louisville this weekend. The club had a strong presence both in the field and as spectators. Catherine Lacrosse takes 5th in her age group at Worlds!

Congratulations to Catherine Lacrosse for an awesome performance at the Long Course World Championships in Almere, The Netherlands this past weekend. Catherine LaCrosse Heading to Worlds!

Club member Catherine LaCrosse is heading to Almere, Netherlands this week to represent the US in the World Long Course Championships. The race is on August 31st, and you can get more details about it at http://www.triathlon-almere-2008.org/. Good luck to Catherine and the rest of Team USA. Making it to this level is an awesome accomplishment, and we’re all proud of you!

2008 Tri Bike Sale at A1

A1 Cyclery is clearing out the 2008 tri bikes, and is marking down prices to get ready for the 2009 line. All 2008 bikes are marked down at least $100, and include a complimentary FIST fitting. This is a great opportunity for someone in the market to pick up a new bike before the 10-20% price increase that is coming for the 09 season.
